THERMAL & VISUAL DATA · ALBERTA PROJECTS

Thermal drone inspections in Alberta.
Capture useful asset information.

AgroLink provides thermal and visual drone data collection for inspection projects across Alberta. We plan the capture around your asset, the question you need answered and the records your team will use for follow-up.

Inspection imagery with a clear purpose.

Thermal imagery can help identify temperature patterns for further investigation. Its usefulness depends on the asset, operating state, environment and capture conditions. We agree on the inspection objective and required outputs before scheduling a flight.

Buildings and facilities

Document visible conditions and thermal patterns around agreed inspection areas. Coordinate the capture with site access and the operating conditions relevant to the asset.

Utilities and infrastructure

Plan repeatable visual and thermal observations for asset records and follow-up. Identify the structures, access constraints and reporting needs at the start.

Solar and other field assets

Discuss thermal capture requirements around the equipment and inspection objective, including the conditions needed for useful imagery and subsequent technical review.

Agree on the evidence and deliverables.

A useful inspection starts with knowing how the images will be used. We discuss thermal and RGB capture, areas of interest, location references and the format your team needs. Interpretation and corrective decisions should involve the appropriate asset specialist.

Tell us whether this is a one-time assessment or a repeat observation program. Consistent capture plans can make future comparisons easier to review.

  • Asset type, site location and inspection objective.
  • Areas of concern, access and operational constraints.
  • The imagery, location references and report format required.
  • Preferred timing and the people who will review the findings.

Inspection services or your own Enterprise setup.

Common questions

Does a thermal image prove a defect?

A thermal pattern is information for review, not a diagnosis by itself. Asset condition, environment and operating state affect interpretation and may require follow-up by an appropriate specialist.

Can you collect visual photographs at the same time?

We can discuss combined thermal and RGB capture so the agreed records provide context for the areas being reviewed.

Can I buy equipment for my own inspection team?

Yes. AgroLink supplies DJI Enterprise equipment and support. We can help compare the aircraft, sensor and field workflow around your inspection objectives.
